How do I wire a 2.0 inch ST7789 SPI TFT to ESP32?

  • ST7789 panels are usually 4-wire SPI plus DC, RST and backlight. Match the 12-pin FPC pinout on that exact module — pin numbers are not universal.
  • Logic is 2.4–3.3V on many small TFTs. Do not feed 5V into the flex.
  • SPI MOSI/SCLK/CS must be the GPIOs your driver is compiled for. A mismatch shows a white or striped screen with a live backlight.
  • Rotation is a software flag. Landscape vs portrait does not require a different panel if the driver supports it.
